The Greater Milwaukee Hotel & Lodging Association proudly supports the advancement of individuals pursuing careers connected to hotel, lodging, and tourism fields.

In 2025, GMHLA awarded a total of $8,000 in scholarships to employees, students, and family members associated with GMHLA member properties.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Employees working at a GMHLA member hotel who are pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution
• Current students enrolled in a lodging, tourism, or related academic program
• Family members of an associate employed at a GMHLA member hotel

​These scholarships help recipients grow professionally, expand opportunities, and continue contributing to Milwaukee’s hotel and lodging community.

How to Apply

Applications open annually in the fall. Award decisions are made in November, and funds are disbursed in December directly to the awardee's educational institution.
